Annual General Meeting 2026
Our Annual General Meeting has been set for 6:30pm, Tuesday 13th October 2026 in Deacons Kitchen, The Riverhead, 33 York Terrace, Riverhead.
The AGM gives full members an opportunity to provide feedback on the annual business plan, strategy, and budget. Members are encouraged to attend and partake in the decision making.
All attendees at the meeting must register for meeting attendance and provide identification that they are the nominated person to represent the member business. Please email General Manager, Danielle Hancock, with your intention to attend or register at Eventfinda here .

Special Resolutions
Three special resolutions will be discussed at the AGM, related to establishing honorarium payments for Executive Committee members.
Special Resolution 1: That North West Country Incorporated approve the assignment of an Honorarium programme for
Executive Committee members as per the BNW Honoraria Policy 2026.
Special Resolution 2: That North West Country Incorporated approve the payment of Honoraria for Executive
Committee members to be back dated to 1 July 2026.
Special esolution 3: That North West Country Incorporated adopt the North West Country Incorporated Constitution 2026 including amendments and updates relating to the inclusion of the provision of honoraria for officers.
Under the North West Country Incorporated Constitution a Special Resolution is considered passed if it is voted in by a majority of full members in attendance at the AGM.

Calling for Tourism North West Sub-Committee Members
We are accepting nominations for mana whenua representatives and tourism operators to join the Tourism North West sub-committee. Nominations will be accepted at the Business North West AGM 2026.

If you wish to be considered for an Executive Committee position please complete the nomination form and return it to the General Manager. Closing dates to receive completed nomination forms is Tuesday 8th October at 5pm.
We currently have a vacancy for an executive committee member for Parakai and can accept nominations for other areas.
